_Business Administrator_

MTS Group consists of 4 main businesses - Scaffolding, Roofing, Groundworks & Carpentry Contracting. We deal with a wide range of clients from large corporate and commercial brands through to private residential customers.


MTS have been extremely successful over the last 9 years and we are now looking for a self-motivated, organised individual, who has great communication skills, both written and spoken, to support the various departments of the business.

This will allow us to continue progression of the success achieved to date and elevate the volumes and customer service we currently provide.


The role is focused on supporting the administration task across the various elements of the business and working with the Directors and Head of Commercial to provide support day to day.

You will need have excellent organisation and problem-solving skills, to be successful.

A large part of the role will be co-ordinating projects for our clients and communicating this to the various build teams.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for residential new clients
  • Maintaining existing client relationships
  • Assisting to produce estimates and sending quotes and following up when required.
  • Raising sales invoices and chasing payments
  • Producing necessary paperwork for clients Site Operating Procedures
  • Assisting Build Team Managers in administration task as needed.
  • Managing phone lines and incoming calls
  • Arranging appointments for site visits
  • Collating data and working on setting up a new CRM system with ongoing management of the system once up and running.
  • Booking in jobs for the various departments and managing the ongoing communication when required.
  • Supporting the daytoday administration tasks for the corporate contract customers. Photos, Job sheets, PO requests and being main contact for booking in jobs.
  • Sending RAMS, arranging and sending Scaffold inspections, ordering materials.
  • Supporting apprentices with hotel bookings and CITB contact.
  • Remedials for house builders.
Skills Required

  • Customer Service excellence
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to write strong business correspondence.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Natural time management skills and proficient in multitasking
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Be able to ask for help when needed.
  • Basic understanding of a construction trade is advantageous.
  • Flexibility in working hours as and when required would also be advantageous.
