Do you have a passion for Technical? Committed to maintaining and improving high standards? Are you a Food Science / Technology student looking for a 12- month placement in industry?

As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to Technical across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated
Technical Placement Student to join our Technical Team, based at our advanced processing site in Telford, Shropshire.

Your key responsibilities as a Technical Placement Student will include:

Assisting the Product Specifications Co-Ordinator & Production team with both new and existing products (QAS & Specifications)
Control of Quality Management System, accurate maintenance, document control revision of procedures and forms
Coordination of GMP audits, ensuring all areas are regularly assessed to maintain compliance
Submit lab sample data
Planning, organisation and communication trials
Coordinating sampling
Completion of technical information and project work

What we are looking for:

As an
Technical Placement Student, we are looking for a passionate and ambitious Food Science / Technology Undergraduate to join our Technical department and be:

A team player but with the ability to work effectively independently
Adaptable to varied situations
Excellent at communicating with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues
Comfortable getting handson
Driven to achieve results and find solutions
On course to be achieving a minimum of a 2:2 degree, ideally with a bias in food science degree
