Purchase Ledger Clerk
Our client is looking for a part time purchase ledger clerk to join their team.

The hours for this role are 5 hours per day 5 days per week.

Preferred hours would be 9:00 am - 2:00pm


Main Duties

  • Process high volume of purchase invoices in Pegasus Operation system. Match delivery note with invoice and purchase order. Ensure proper authorisation of invoice and correct nominal and VAT coding applied.
  • Post and Reconcile transfer of invoices from Pegasus Operations to Finance system.
  • Dealing with supplier queries and being first point of contact.
  • Analyse open invoices reporting on deposit payments and monthly accruals and held invoices.
  • Misc. Job Costing entering project cost via Pegasus Operation system.
  • Process monthly and adhoc supplier payments, making sure the ledger is update for payments.
  • Prepare aged creditor report, reconciliation of creditor's statement.
  • General administration, filing, archiving.
  • Assist the Financial team where necessary.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience of working within a purchase ledger processing environment.
  • Have experience coding invoices.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work to challenging deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and numerical skills.
  • Knowledge of costing would be an advantage.
