What We Look For

Having strong academic grades is something we highly value, but to work at Tutor World you need to bring more to the table.

We expect all of our tutors to deliver their lessons with energy & enthusiasm so that students look forward to learning.

They should have a passion for Maths, English or Science with the ability to explain concepts clearly & concisely to foundation students as well as the more advanced.

Importantly, as the faces and representatives of Tutor World, we expect our tutors to act as leaders and role models — inspiring and making a positive impact on the next generation of young people.

Responsibilities:

• Assess students' academic needs and develop personalised learning plans
• Create engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding of the material
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Communicate with parents and teachers to provide updates on student performance
• Collaborate with other tutors and educators to share resources and best practices

Skills:

• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of special education techniques and strategies is a plus
• Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Excellent organisational skills to keep track of multiple students and their progress

As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success.
