Description

Holme Dodsworth Metals Ltd are a non-ferrous metals stockist who were established in 1879 and continues to be a family ran business with branches throughout the UK.

Experience of a similar role would be beneficial however not necessary as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and stock incoming materials in the warehouse. Aswell as load outgoing material for daily customer deliveries
Use forklifts to move, organize materials & relocate material (forklift licence is not essential but would be preferred)
Pick customer orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain inventory levels and perform regular stock checks
Keep the warehouse clean and organized

Experience:

Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes
Basic mechanical knowledge for daily checks & maintain records

Skills:

Forklift operation and certification (preferred)
Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physically demanding tasks
Knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling

We run two shifts, therefore start/finish time may vary between 6am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday.

Salary:
£8.50-£11.00 per hour
