We are seeking Kitchen Assistants/Porters who are hardworking, enthusiastic, and dependable, and have undergone Enhanced DBS Clearance, for agency work.

Our agency offers various roles in Schools and Hospitals all over London, working with diverse clients who require Kitchen Assistants/Porters.

The majority of our job openings are on weekdays during the day, Monday to Friday, offering more flexibility than permanent positions, allowing you to select when and where you would like to work.

As a Kitchen Assistant/Porter, you will assist chefs when necessary, serve food, clean, and potentially operate the tills.

Relevant work experience, a full uniform (consisting of a black shirt or t-shirt and black trousers), and willing to commute 30 to 40 minuters around London ,and Enhanced DBS certificate are among the key requirements.

You will need:
Previous work experience in a busy kitchen in either Schools, Restaurants or Contract Catering.

Clear, valid Enhanced DBS Certificate no older than last 3 years or registered on update service.

Ability to understand and take instructions.

Basic food preparation - Salads, Sandwiches, fruit bowls.

Serving at hot/cold food counter.

Willingness to clean the Kitchen and to wash up if required.

Working in a team.

Must have knowledge of Health and Safety, Food Safety.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Salary:
£11.00-£13.00 per hour
