Contract Project Manager

Location:
Portsmouth

Permanent Position

Salary - £55k DOE


The Atlas Recruitment Group are currently searching for an experienced Contract Project Manager, to join a well-established successful, global team in the UK.


Contract Project Manager Main Responsibilities:


  • Ownership of the delivery of an export development and production programme
  • Lead and direct the staff required to deliver the requirements of the Contract(s), ensuring delivery of contracts to schedule, cost, quality, safety and technical commitment
  • Be an ambassador for safe and ethical working in accordance with the businesses good practices, the code of conduct, SHE policies and in line with relevant Product Safety & governance frameworks
  • As primary interface between project and external groups, establish and maintain strong Customer, Supplier, and internal business relationships, ensuring clear points of contact and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Attendance at associated project management meetings as required by the specific contracts, and customer and supplier locations, UK and worldwide as necessary
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of the Customer Monthly Reports and Quarterly Progress Reviews as required
  • Will be responsible for ensuring effective relationships with other functions in order to deliver the objectives of the allocated programmes (e.g. commercial, finance, supply chain) and the implementation of all financial processes related to the managementof the contracts

Contract Project Manager Experience required:


  • Ability to understand and resolve complex operational issues within a Delivery environment
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering production programmes
  • Solid understanding of export controls
  • Knowledge of the continuous improvement and tailoring of procedures and guidelines for operation of the project/programme
