The Ellern Mede Ridgeway Hospital is currently recruiting a dietitian to join their Specialist Eating Disorder Dietetic team.

The Ellern Mede group are proud to remain one of the most recognised services for offering the best support for young people and young adults struggling with Anorexia Nervosa and other disordered eating behaviours.

Working as a member of the Ellern Mede Ridgeway team will provide you with great opportunities to support a wide range of inpatients and outpatients at both national and international levels.

Support and motivate patients to increase their confidence in eating and drinking and take control of their life back from the eating disorder.

Work alongside other professional to support patients so that they can manage to eat and drink in restaurants and cafes as part of the social eating care pathway.

Liaise with, and support other professionals, families and carers as required.

Carry out dietetic assessments on nutritional intake, activity levels etc.

Prepare oral supplement and nasogastric feeding plans as required.

Deliver group talks and presentations on normal healthy eating.

Review patient eating diaries in hospital and from home.

Design and review nutrition plans.

Requirements:

Registered Dietitian with United Kingdom's Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

A full member of the British Dietetic Association.
