Part of the Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub, Forwards Employment Service provides support for people who are at risk of long-term unemployment including people with disabilities, young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET) and Care experienced young people

We have an amazing opportunity for a SEND Post 16 Adviser to join our team.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for helping young people with learning disability/Autism or have EHCPS' and MYPLAN achieve their potential, by raising their aspirations, by developing pathways to appropriate Post 16 provision focusing upon the four transition pathways Employment and Education, Community, Social and Health, which will support the young persons to live fulfilling and independent lives, then this opportunity is for you.


About You


The ideal post holder will have excellent communication skills, which will allow for them to develop a range of close links with partner; including other GCC teams, learning providers and employers; all with the aim of increasing skills base, knowledge, and the opportunities available.
