Salary:
Lecturer Grade 8: £41,931 - £52,841 per annum pro rata

Queen Margaret University, Division of Psychology, Sociology and Education seeks to add to its dynamic and socially-engaged social science team with the appointment of a 0.3 FTE Lecturer in Psychology with the necessary expertise in current data-informed, socially and theoretically relevant psychology to support our undergraduate provision across the Division.

The successful postholder will teach on our highly regarded degrees in Psychology and Psychology and Sociology, and may have the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of education programmes as well.

This is an exciting opportunity for career development and progression.

The purpose of the role is to provide excellent and innovative teaching both online and on campus; provide academic guidance to students; guide curriculum and programme design and undertake scholarship in an aspect of psychology.

The post offers the opportunity to work with colleagues in the Division of Psychology, Sociology & Education, as well as across the University, and to broaden our collaborative engagement with professionals across the social science, voluntary and/ or policy sectors or beyond.
