Kerens Nursery their aim is to educate confident, independent children who are upright citizens of the world. They aspire to instill pre-schoolers with a sense of resilience, confidence, and self-motivation.

At the same time, they encourage children to be proud of what makes them unique - whether that's their first language or different customs at home.

They do this by providing a secure environment in which children are encouraged to take risks and make their own choices.

The main responsibilities of this job role will include:

Working towards
Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns
whilst having fun.
Being a team player.

Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children:

Taking part in First Aid training as required
Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
Working with teams across the nursery setting

Supporting children's learning and development
:

Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
Supporting children's selfhelp needs.

Being creative and enthusiastic.

Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.

Working within confidentiality guidelines to be able to achieve all of the above to complete the Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.

This Apprenticeship will open the doors to a variety of future roles within the Childcare Sector.
