P Flannery plant Hire is one of the UK's biggest supplier of operated & non operated plant & machinery.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a
Stores Operative to work in our Machine Control Department reporting directly to the
HIRE MANAGER.

This role is based in our Birmingham Depot

What your role will entail:

As Stores Operative you will act as the first point of contact for stock entering and leaving the premises. Liaising closely with the Hire Manager and Colleagues within the Digital Department

An understanding and knowledge of Controlling Stock in particular in Plant hire or similar would be an advantage. You may also be required to assist with any other tasks within the service dept from time to time.

Duties include:

Be Point of Contact for stock control
Assist Road Fitters with rental items
Create + manage daily stock counts
Assist operators + site managers with asset enquiries
Be P.O.C. for asset selection, including placing / managing stock control, ensuring the right parts get to the right person / machine / site
Processing assets at off hire and on hire stage
Assist manager with general office operations and admin where needed
Assist with service contract + maintenance schedules
