Description

Better Lives service in Islington is a substance misuse service delivering treatment to residents in Islington. Camden and Islington Trust are the Lead Providers working in partnership with Humankind and WDP.

This model of treatment was coproduced with our service users who are an integral part of our commitment to service users outcomes.

This is an exciting new way to deliver treatment to people who require treatment for substance misuse issue and whilst offering support to their family and carers.

The model has several pathways from shared care in primary care settings to working with the criminal justice pathways to support those in need into the wider treatment model.

We deliver a day programme and are committed to supporting our service user through their recovery journey and helping them to further support them into the community to build up their recovery capital to give them the best opportunity for successful outcomes.
