We are people-driven, focusing on empowerment, inclusivity and understanding.

We aim to ensure that whoever comes into the Brendoncare environment - whether as a member, resident, volunteer or colleague - they are able to live their life to the fullest potential.

Our values reflect who we are - together we are kind, positive, brave and empowering.

We need people who really want to make a difference to the lives of people in later life to join us.

In return, we will support you to grow and flourish as you are welcomed to the Brendoncare team.

What will I be doing?

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will be:

  • Acting as a key worker to some residents, and ensuring care plans are up to date and accurate;
  • Providing personal care to the residents, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times;
  • Supporting new members of the team and providing constructive feedback;
  • Encouraging independence as much as possible.
  • On occasion you may required to provide care to residents living in the Care Home.

What do I need to have to apply?
We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate our four key values; kindness, care, choice and community.

We pride ourselves on providing the best possible care for our residents and our ability to make them feel like family within a loving community.

We need you to be like minded in this approach, valuing the small things which are important to each of our residents and courtiers.

In addition, we are looking for:
Flexibility in working hours, including working weekends;
A caring, compassionate personality;
Reliability and punctuality

What can you offer me?

In return we offer an hourly rate of £11.40 (£11.80 with NVQ2 in Health & Social Care), enhanced rates for working additional shifts outside of your contracted hours, Bank Holidays and 5.6 weeks holiday (including Bank Holidays).

In addition we provide full training and continuing personal development including the opportunity to undertake an NVQ/QCF, a free uniform, free DBS check, paid breaks, free meals when on duty, a Recommend a Friend Bonus Scheme, Employee Assistance Programme and a Group Personal Pension Plan.
