Tavistock Montessori Pre-school is a small business in Tavistock we are a super friendly highly experienced team.

We are looking for a enthusiastic and committed Preschool Practioner to join our team and who is flexible with hours and has at least a level 2 in childcare to be able to cover sickness.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement ageappropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
• Monitor and assess each child's development and provide individualized support as needed
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of a level 2 in early childhood education or related field preferred
• Previous experience working with preschoolaged children in a classroom setting
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
