Description
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Safeguarding Practitioner in Leicestershire County Council, Hinckley Based team.

Key responsibilities

  • To hold a case load of Child in Need, Child Protection or Looked After cases.
  • These cases may also go into the PLO or be issued to court.
  • Also to complete Child and Family Assessments as allocated.
  • To support the Team Manager and attend court with less experienced staff.
  • To supervises support workers and demonstrate "best practice" to the other team members.
  • To hold strategy discussions and chair complex meetings.

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification
  • Degree or equivalent
  • At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Driving license and access to own vehicle
