Pay rate:
£12.62 per hour


MUST LIVE LOCAL TO WOOLWICH

Site:
Woolwich Centre, Woolwich Town Hall, Birchmere Depot

We are looking for an experienced Security officer for a prestige site in Woolwich.

You must have conflict management experience and have a 5 year checkable back to school or work history and a valid SIA license.

Good presentation and excellent communication skills are all essential qualities required for this position. The main duties will include general security work, dealing with general queries and associated duties as required. Both sexes welcomed.

Applicants must be SIA Door Supervisors and CCTV license holders with at least 5 years experience in the Security Industry.

Experience of conflict management and dealing with difficult customers is essential.


Duties will include:

  • Providing a seamless and integrated service with reception staff in order to manage entrance and egress to/from the building for staff and visitors efficiently and in customer friendly manner.
  • To have a commanding presence and authority in reception and other public areas (including the external curtilage of the building) owning the space and be able to deal with and diffuse any conflicts that may arise.
  • To maintain security of the premises including locking /unlocking the building, setting/unsetting alarms and responding to security requests from site users.
  • To carry out regular internal and external security patrols
  • To monitor CCTV screens and intruder alarms and deal with incidents.
  • To carry out weekly fire alarm tests
  • To provide a porter service as and when required

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 35 per week


Salary:
£12.62 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
