Please note:

We are recruiting for both members of this team, so if you know someone who is suitable for a " Mechanical Engineer Mate" that would be great.

Duties are as follows:

• Working as a 2 person team you will take the lead and ownership for works carried out
• Mentor, coach and train members of your team to assist CPD and achieving collective targets.
• Collaborate with the service team and managers to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and team members regarding updates
• Work in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations, HSE, best codes of practices and customer site specific rules
• Service, PPM and installation on mechanical ventilation and fire systems.
• Inspection of fire dampers in accordance with BS9999. Carrying out allocated service/remedial repair work

Fire Detection (Design & Installation)

• Taking required before and after photos training provided
• Ensuring service sheets and reports are completed correctly and issued on time
• Working at height and using safe access equipment training provided
• Assist external contractors with installation works as required, providing advice and support as required
• Preferably 5 years' experience and CSCS card
• Mechanical (HVAC) qualification and/or background In mechanical fire & smoke control advantageous
• CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training qualification and valid Skill card advantageous
• Full and valid UK driving license
• A cando attitude
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills
• Team work skills and Excellent organisational skills
• Literacy skills
• You will need to be flexible with your working hours including day, evening, weekends and night work
• Be able to follow health and safety procedures

Salary:
£38K - 42K depending on experience

• 22 days plus Bank Holidays with an increment of one day per year up to a maximum of 25 days per annum for full time staff

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift onsite, 1 hour travel either way
• Worked out on a varied shift rota in advance
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday and weekends
• Night shift

Work location:

70% within M25 30% Nationwide with some overnights
