An opportunity for a Production Planner to join an award-winning and established family run business. The successful employee will become part of an evolving company during an exciting time of growth.

Producing and selling quality specialist dietary foodproducts to the healthcare sector, you will be joining a passionate business who pride themselves on delivering consistently exceptional quality to their customers.


Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a new, pivotal position, where you will have the freedom to make the role your own.

The Production Planner will be responsible for the following:

  • Actively promote a quality and food safety culture within defined area of responsibility
  • Determine and analyse stock figures to minimise waste
  • Creating daily production schedule
  • Ensuring enough recourses are available for all areas of the business.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding orders
  • Planning and prioritising operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
  • Creating forecasts for suppliers
  • Creating production forecasts

Experience required for the Production Planner position:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • MRP system experience
  • Previous experience in a similar Planning role
  • Ideally an understanding of the Food industry
  • Be a key team player
  • Excellent organisational skills
On offer is a basic salary of £30,000. Monday - Friday (40 hours/week) with the potential of working 1 or 2 days from home.
