Job Description:


Objective:

The VP of Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.

The role involves oversight of both sales and marketing departments, ensuring they work in unison to push the company's goals.


Key Responsibilities:

1.


Strategic Planning and Execution:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for sales and marketing.
  • Identify and target new business development opportunities.

Sales Leadership:


  • Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team.
  • Set sales goals, track performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
3.


Marketing Management:


  • Oversee marketing initiatives, including branding, advertising, and digital marketing.
  • Guide market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.
4.


Budget Management:


  • Oversee the sales and marketing budgets.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to maximize return on investment.
5.


Reporting and Analysis:


  • Provide detailed reports on sales and marketing performance against objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
6.


Collaboration:


  • Work closely with the product development team to align sales and marketing strategies with product offerings.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness.
7.


Stakeholder Management:


  • Communicate with the executive team and stakeholders about sales and marketing strategies and results.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a sales and/or marketing leadership role, especially in a technologyfocused environment.
