East London university based - Full time HYBRID working Monday to Friday

Job purpose

To deliver all assessments (in-course and end-of-year) for the five Year, Graduate Entrants' and Malta MBBS programmes. IHSE PGT programmes including Physicians Associate, working independently for areas of responsibility and as a team for cross programmesupport.

The post holder will provide administrative functions and act as secretary to designated exam boards and committees, ensuring appropriate governance in line with QM regulations.


The post holder will be expected to work closely with their counterparts in the Curriculum Operations and CBME teams, as well as the Student Records Manager, to ensure seamless service to students and academic staff in the areas of examination and progression.

While this post leads on assessment functions for specific phases, the post holder will be required to work in a matrix of assessment support providing administrative functions to colleagues throughout the assessment annual schedule.


As it is a student facing post linked to progression and student numbers, it carries reputational, financial and operational impact.

It is expected that the work of the post holder will make a positive contribution to the student experience and improve theSchool's achievements in national league tables and public audit reports.


Experience/Knowledge
Working as an administrator in an HE environment (healthcare related)

Organisation of examinations or events

Working with students and course administration

Experience of maintaining accurate records and filing systems

Working with databases (ideally to include SITS)

Experience in servicing committees
