Description

As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs, evaluation of care plans, ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients.

In the absence of the Clinical Lead the post holder will have continuing responsibility for the management of the Department including supervision and deployment of staff.

The post holder has responsibility and accountability for maintaining both clinical and staff governance.


The post holder will be expected to participate in duty rosters consisting of day, late, weekends and night shift working.

The post holder will be required to participate in on call rosters, which provide 24 hour cover over 7 days per week
