Description

The role we're looking to fill is a fantastic opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about the potential for new technology to transform healthcare and the improvement it can make to patients and their wellbeing.

The Clinical Content Editor is a member of the clinical content team and reports to the Clinical Director.

A Clinical Content Editor may be asked to deputise for the Clinical Director when necessary. This may include, but is not limited to, supervising others, clinically approving work, and managing the release process.


You will:


  • Be responsible for contributing to the clinical safety and quality of the Health Hero products and their content by ensuring adherence to best practice and agreed, governed processes.
  • Encourage and promote a positive working environment and act in a trustworthy, professional and respectful manner.
  • Collaborate with and perform well as part of the multidisciplinary Clinical Team and deliver successful line management of all reports.
  • Advise the Clinician Clinical Content Editors and Clinical Directors as and when required.
- providing clinical expertise within the scope of own qualifications and scope of practice, for the clinical team and across the organisation where required.

  • Be aware of and work within the relevant performance framework and any national or international guidelines as appropriate.
  • Be able to create, revise and maintain accurate and up to date clinical content.
  • Be able to create, develop and maintain algorithms, riskbased calculations and any other type of clinical content appropriate for use in digital healthcare products and utilised by Health Hero based on a clinician's logic.
  • Have knowledge of and experience of all aspects of the build and testing process; be able to develop and perform backup plans if something goes differently than expected and communicate to the Clinical Director in advance.
  • Build new and updated clinical algorithms as directed. Be approachable and provide help, encouragement and support to team members as required, creating a safe learning environment regarding all aspects of the build process for less experienced builders within the team when required.
  • Undertake internal testing of the products and their content to ensure they're appropriate and functioning correctly.
  • Understand and contribute to the release process for all products including the required documentation and crossdepartmental interactions.
  • Generate accurate, contemporaneous, computerised records at every part of the process that requires it, that prove adherence to the defined and agreed processes.
  • Summarise complex content regarding build for others to understand; be able to present effectively in formal and informal environments. Where appropriate, question and challenge processes and the status quo regarding build to ensure that effectiveness of systems and approaches are optimised and efficient.

This is a hybrid role, with travel to either our Bracknell or London office at least once a fortnight.

Requirement

  • You will ideally be a GP or an experienced triage clinician
  • Strong interest in health and wellbeing and the delivery of healthcare
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with a variety of individuals
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office) and willingness to learn to use new software
  • Previous experience in care pathways design or evidence based practice an advantage
  • Possess strong clinical thinking skills and problemsolving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrate energy and determination to deliver on commitments in an everchanging environment.
  • Logical and independent thinker
