Teaching Assistant

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4pm

Pay rate ranges from £75 to £85 per day
Are you a creative Teaching Assistant seeking a full-time, long-term role in a primary school?


Tradewind are on the hunt for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is keen on supporting children with learning difficulties and confident creating and leading intervention groups.

This role is in a fantastic mainstream primary school based in the boroughWestminster and will last until at least July 2023.


At this school, you will find a supportive community made up of a welcoming team of staff and pupils with a real willingness to learn.

With a range of effective learning strategies, this school take pride in driving academic success for each of their pupils.


About the role:


  • Work 1:1 with a KS1 child with SEN
  • Create and lead intervention sessions
  • Support small group of SEN pupils
  • Promote academic progression
  • The role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am 4pm
  • The rate for this role ranges from £75 £80 per day

Requirements:


  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Good understanding of children with SEN, but the school are happy to provide training where necessary
  • Available fulltime immediately
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
