Description

Reporting to the Business Manager, the finance assistant is responsible for processing orders, receipts and invoices and making payments to suppliers.

You will be responsible for carrying out bank reconciliations and maintaining a cash flow spreadsheet.

You will raise invoices for nursery fees and lettings and monitor our cashless income system for breakfast club and after school club bookings, including chasing debts as necessary.


You will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with our suppliers and to support our School Business Manager with a variety of other administrative tasks such as data entry, recruitment, managing staff overtime and expenses and maintaining personnel filing systems.

You will have an excellent eye for detail and outstanding communication and organisational skills.


You will also assist in the school office including welcoming visitors, pupils and parents into the school, answering the telephone and booking training courses, school trips and transport.


You will have experience of working within an office environment and preferably within a school or finance administration role and be competent in using Microsoft Office.

Salary:
£21,968.00-£22,368.00 per year
