Mental Helath Care Assistant Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare professionals with patient care tasks and activities.
Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and feeding.
Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records and care plans.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Support patients in their daily activities and ensure their comfort and wellbeing.
Follow healthcare protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety.
Assist with mobility and transportation needs for patients.

Experience:

Experience in mental health care is essential, care home experience preffered.
Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
Ability to create and update care plans for patients.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Valid driver's license for transportation requirements.

Rate of pay is higher and negotiable with amount of experience.
