About the role

We have an exciting opportunity in our expanding countywide business support team that provides administrative support to our Adult Social Care teams, who offer ongoing support to Adults, Older People and those with disabilities within our communities.


We adopt a hybrid and flexible approach to work so, once trained, you will be able to work some of your days from an appropriate or home environment.

Your office base will be determined on appointment, but will include offices in Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Ives, March, and Ely.

Successful applicants will be expected to travel across the county to support their colleagues as required.

What will you be doing?


The role includes:

  • Answering phone calls from service users and passing these details on to Practitioners.
  • Sending correspondence and recording calls and incoming post and documents onto the Service computer system.
  • Preparing correspondence and paperwork to send out.
  • Minuting meetings.
  • Liaising with staff and service users using a variety of systems.

  • Call handling
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new systems
  • The ability to multitask, prioritise your workload and work flexibly
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • IT skills in relation to Microsoft Office 365 packages
