Monday - Friday work week - NO WEEKENDS
About Us:
- Onward Waste Ltd is dedicated to providing efficient and reliable waste management services across the Isle of Wight.
Main Duties:
- Conduct daily vehicle walkround checks, including completing defect sheets.
- Drive a 3.5ton van on the Isle of Wight.
- Move and empty waste containers to and from the vehicle.
- Ensure the vehicles are maintained and kept in a clean and tidy condition.
- Operate safely at all times.
- Perform general yard operative duties.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a full UK driving licence.
Preferred Skills:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently using your initiative.
- Maintain high levels of customer service at all times.
- Ability to follow instructions and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Experience within the Waste Industry is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
