Production Coordinator is responsible for liaising with clients on a day to day basis ensuring each are kept up to date with the process and timescales.
Must be comfortable discussing industry topics as well technical issues with regard to filming and editing procedures.
Production Coordinator must be able to plan, organise, and implement instructional and creative video production as per the Collaborative Media's requirements by partnering and working together with various production, camera, editors, producers, etc.
The Production Coordinator is expected to perform these roles and responsibilities related to the planning and execution of each production, flawlessly, to ensure the smooth running production process.
Key Responsibilities:
i. Liaise with clients on a daily basis.
ii. Liaise with production team to ensure the smooth running everyones knows what needs to be done (staff and freelancers)
iii. Attend filming shoots and interview as and when necessary
iv. Basic journalism skills to write and amend interview questions and scripts
v. To hire (as and when needed) directors, casts and crews and oversee those positions as well, making sure those employees fulfil their duties in the production process
vi. To organise production schedules and book travel and accommodation for the crews
vii. Undertake social media activities as and when needed.
viii. Liaise with television channel to schedule broadcasts
ix. To keep a close eye on the budget and schedule to assure everything is done on time and within the budget
x. To check to see that all of the necessary equipment, including cameras, video cameras, sound boards and microphones, is in good working order
xi. Work directly for the production manager
Working Conditions:
The nature of the job, mainly, includes staying indoors, in an office, but travelling when necessary for filming shoots. Working conditions may include long hours and erratic schedules, along with stringent production deadlines.

Qualification/ Experience:
A Production Coordinator should have at least a Bachelor's degree in Film and Media or related field, or at least 2 years' experience in the operation of television production services which should include two years.
