Social Media Lead - Leeds - £45,000 - Beauty Brand
As the Social Media Lead, you will work closely with the Creative team, focusing on driving brand awareness and engagement across various social media platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more.
This role presents a real opportunity to progress into a 'Head of Social' position with scope to have a team underneath you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives, voice, and aesthetic.
- Manage and curate captivating content for platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter, ensuring consistent messaging and visual appeal.
- Create original, highquality, and visually appealing content, including videos, images, stories, and more, that resonate with the brand's target audience.
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including marketing, design, and product, to ensure alignment and integration of campaigns and initiatives.
- Stay uptodate with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to maximise the brand's online presence.
- Monitor and analyse social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Engage with the online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive and authentic online brand presence.
- Lead and mentor a content team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the team's growth and success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably within the beauty or fashion industry.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative and impactful content across various social media platforms.
- Proficiency in using social media scheduling tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software.
- Indepth understanding of the social media landscape, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and conceptualise unique content ideas.
- Adaptability to evolving trends and the fastpaced nature of the beauty industry.
