As a Supplier Coordinator in the Supplier team, you will be part of the team responsible for the recruitment and management of all Suppliers that enable our patients to achieve a better quality of life following an injury.
This involves researching and contacting both medical and non-medical Suppliers across the country, both reactively and proactively to they are appropriate and available to treat an injured individual.
Once you have found the appropriate Supplier you will be required to negotiate rates and timescales to get them on to our network.
You will be required to work alongside numerous internal and external stakeholders, such as the Supplier, the Case Manager, the Clinical Support team and the Finance Team.
This role requires attention to detail, someone who is willing to think outside of the box and a persistent willingness to get the job done.
The Supplier Management team is a vital part of ensuring a patient's recovery progresses smoothly and efficiently.You will need to be a good communicator, capable of building strong relationships and trust with colleagues and complete everyday tasks with high accuracy, so you are able to provide your colleagues and peers with everything they require to carry out their role.
Effective use of various computer systems is important and you will ensure your data capture is accurate.
As part of a small team, it is vital that you can work efficiently at a fast pace, ensuring everything you do is clear and transparent so that the team can assist you when needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- To provide a seamless experience for our Case Managers and Support Teams when onboarding new Suppliers.
- To be a champion in promoting the best practice and procedures for managing Suppliers.
- To be a reliable go to team member when other Teams have Supplier questions.
- To effectively manage stakeholders expectations, keeping all parties updated throughout the process.
- Thoroughly and accurately enter and maintain supplier details and records ensuring our data is reliable and useful.
Essential Qualities:
- Competent in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Ability to follow processes whilst identifying potential improvements
- Ability to create strong working relationships
- Problem solving skills
