_Moore Barlow is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our leading Private Wealth Team, based in either Southampton or Lymington. _

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Senior Associate (Solicitor or CILEx) with significant experience dealing with a wide range of private wealth matters for HNW - UHNW clients including, but not limited to;

  • Wills
  • Estate Planning
  • Estate Administration
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Tax Planning (including IHT)
  • Trusts


This individual would also be expected to support the team's Management Lead, Naomi Wilkes, with the ongoing growth and management of team, including acting as a key point of contact and supervisor for more junior members of the team.


This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated lawyer that is looking to take the next step in their professional development, and would suit an experienced Associate who is perhaps unable to progress in their current firm, or an existing Senior Associate who is looking for a fresh challenge and additional responsibilities.


What we look for:

We are ideally looking for:

  • A qualified legal professional (Solicitor or CILEx) with a significant experience dealing with a broad range of private wealth matters, ideally for clients falling into the HNW category (likely to be at least 8 years' worth of experience, but we encourage those with more or less experience to apply)
  • Ideally some prior experience with management responsibilities, such as mentoring and supervising staff, however, this is not essential
  • Engaging, empathetic, and friendly communication style, with the ability to interact confidently with a wide variety of clients (and their families)
  • Creative problemsolving skills; able to think outside of the box with a willingness to support others in the team.
