Salary £23,205
42.5 hours closed for 1 week in the summer and 1 week at christmas
Our vibrant, "outstanding" and successful nursery requires a strong room leader. The nursery is conveniently located in a residential area, close to transport facilities and local amenities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, experienced, enthusiastic practitioner, who is able to manage a team, you should possess great communication skills and have a calm, approachable nature.
This position would suit an experienced nursery practitioner who has previously managed a team (2 years- 4 years ) and is looking for an exciting career opportunity.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
To include and maintain high standards of care and education
To work effectively within the staff team, providing day to day support in the baby room
Provide stimulating and exciting activities for young children
To implement effective parent liaison and to be influential in developing strong links with parents
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
Must have a Level 3 in Childcare
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
Knowledge of OFSTED standards
Good time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of key working practice, including observations and record keeping.
