Description

Our client are seeking a Datacenter Specialist to join their expanding Datacenter team.

As well as being specialist within Datacenter, you'll have strong experience of IT architecture, implementation and migration of complex backup infrastructure environments.

Due to the environment, this is a fully onsite role.

Key responsibilities

Managing the external Cloud partner
Positioning the data centre as a partner for digitization and driver for digital innovations within the university as well as establishing an innovation management to identify relevant IT trends
Planning, organisation and optimisation of the data centre's internal processes
Managing the global on prem Hyper-V farm
Define global backup strategy
Implementation and operation of backup & recovery infrastructure

Managerial Tasks

Ensure the global datacenter budget

Competencies / Skills

Several years of professional experience in IT architecture, implementation and migration of complex backup infrastructure environments
Indepth knowledge and extensive experience preferably with Commvault Enterprise Backup
Proactive and analytical mindset
Experience in project management
Excellent communication skills and team spirit
