Underwriting Assistant - Warranty and Indemnity & Tax and Mergers Acquisition
Lloyd's Syndicate - City of London
Salary £25,000 - £30,000


This great Lloyd's syndicate is looking to add an underwriting assistant to their growing team focusing on warranty and indemnity & tax and mergers acquisitions.

They are looking for someone with 6 months - 1 year experience within an underwriting role ora fresh university graduate with some Lloyd's intern experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain integrity of all data within our data capturing system
  • Maintain and monitor the corporate file structure on the corporate server
  • Assist the underwriters in drafting policy and associated documentation
  • Prepare analytical data using spreadsheets utilising both pivot tables and vlookups
  • Produce reports from the corporate systems for internal and external audiences
  • Ensure compliance with UK and international financial sanctions
  • Provide general assistance to underwriters with administrative duties
  • Liaise with brokers on all administrative issues, including premium payments and document management
