About the role

This is a part-time, permanent post, working 18.75 hours a week (ie 50% of full-time hours); working School term-time only could be considered. The salary is paid at point 34 on the University's single salary spine, the current full-time equivalent (FTE) for which is £29,605 per annum. For a 0.5 FTE contract working year round, the salary pro rata is £14,802 p.a.

Holiday entitlement is 33 days per year (inclusive of bank holidays), pro rata for part-time and there is a range of additional benefits, including a free meal when on duty, free car parking where available and use of the College's gym facilities. The College also offers membership of USS (Universities Superannuation Scheme) pension scheme, with a current employer contribution rate of 21.6%.

About you


You will be educated to at least level 3 (or equivalent), and will have experience of working in a similar capacity, either in an educational context or financial environment.

This is a varied role and the post holder will be expected to have effective communication and liaison skills, excellent computer skills and experience of working accurately with spreadsheets and data.

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment are key, as are a keen eye for detail and a friendly approach.
