Delight Care Services are seeking a Career for residential home in the Hull, UK

Job description
We have a new client at Hull coming on board with us. We require Healthcare assistants' working hours are, on average, 37.5 hours a week. This role often has shift work, meaning you may have to work night shifts, early morning shifts, evenings and weekends

Your role might include:
- supporting people with social and physical activities
- booking and going with people to appointments
- helping with personal care such as support with showering and dressing
- supporting people with eating and drinking
- monitoring individuals' conditions by taking their temperature, pulse, respiration and weight, and possibly helping with medication.
- monitoring patients and performing basic health checks
- making patients feel comfortable.
- serving meals and helping to feed patients.

Work closely with other healthcare professionals such as nurses, physicians, and therapists in order to provide patients with exceptional care
Dispose of waste and hazardous materials

Healthcare Support Workers Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 6 months experience in the UK healthcare sector
Superior communication skills
Excellent bedside manners and etiquette
Ability to analyze basic medical information and data
Ability to successfully work in a fastpaced, highpressure environment
Willingness to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Prior experience in a hospital or clinical environment
Knowledge of basic phlebotomy procedures
Ability to work with other employees in order to achieve various goals
Understanding of medical confidentiality laws and practices
