Assistant
Job Title Mental Health Administrative Assistant
Reporting to Mental Health Manager
Working Hours 14 hours per week
Location BAPAM Office and remotely under BAPAM Homeworking Policy.
Job Purpose
BAPAM is an expanding UK-wide charity providing specialist occupational clinical services to performing arts workers and students.
We have agreements with industry organisations including Help Musicians (Music Minds Matters), Equity and the Dance Professionals Fund to provide therapy to performing artists.
There is a growing need for this service, particularly following COVID, and the Mental Health Administrative Assistant will support the work of the team by ensuring that all patient records are completed and available for clinicians to review and track patient care.
Key Accountabilities
Preparation of completed patient self-reported assessment for Multi-Disciplinary Team
- Review all forms sent to patients to check whether completed or not
- Move all completed forms into the MDT folder for the following week
- Schedule calls for the Mental Health Triage Practitioner
Tracking and logging completed therapy sessions
- Review all therapist folders to track sessions completed
- Log sessions, DNAs and discharges
- Highlight 2 successive DNAs to the Mental Health Manager
Other Duties
- Support Mental Health Manager with any adhoc duties that are need to support the smooth running of the mental health service.
Person specification:
You will need to have worked as part of an administrative team and to be a confident IT user.
You will be familiar with Microsoft Office and online tools such as Office 365 or Google apps, and comfortable using Microsoft Dynamics CRM or a similar database.
Excellent organisational skills and time management are required.Experience in healthcare administration is desirable but not essential. However, attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn procedures is vital.
An interest in the arts or personal experience of arts practice and mental health would be advantageous but is not essential for this role.
