  • Our client, an independent, London based, Private Investment Office, is looking for a Multi-Asset Investment Associate to join the team on a permanent basis.
They oversee approximately $1.5BN of capital for their clients, providing a mix of discretionary and advisory investment management services. Their philosophy is grounded in the multi-asset class endowment approach used by many of the most sophisticated investors in the US and Europe.


Roles & Responsibilities:


Supporting the CIO with new due diligence projects and refreshing coverage of current external managers across asset classes (credit, equity, absolute return, private equity, real estate, venture capital).


  • Supporting the CIO with macroeconomic analysis to drive thinking around portfolio construction and rebalancing.
  • Assisting with client portfolio management, including ongoing review and maintenance of portfolios within investment guidelines.
  • Preparing materials for client meetings (e.g. quarterly performance reports).
  • Operational support where required (e.g. checking statements, reconciliation of performance across internal and external systems).
  • General client service assisting Portfolio Managers in strengthening client relationship.

Experience & Qualifications:

First class academic background, up to degree level from a leading university.

  • Minimum Alevel qualifications (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Economics or have done a quantitative degree.
  • 2 to 3 years of work experience in a relevant field e.g. a (multi) family office, endowment fund, asset manager, or a strategy consultant with project experience in financial services.
  • Knowledge of and interest in financial markets.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
