We are looking for a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis (8-4, Monday - Friday, term-time only) to join our wonderful Montessori nursery team, starting in April 2023.

Based at Ravenscourt Park Montessori in Ravenscourt Park itself, West London (W6), our nursery is passionate about Montessori education, and combines a beautiful indoor environment with free flow to our garden and forest school.

A few details about our nursery:

• We are a sessional nursery, with morning or afternoon sessions in term-time only.
• We support children aged between 2 to 5 years old.

Responsibilities and Duties

• To be a teaching assistant in the setting
• To observe and support children to help them reach their full potential
• To support the team of Montessori teachers throughout the classroom
• To uphold each of our nursery policies, importantly those that relate to our safeguarding commitments
• Participate in selfassessment, reflection and ongoing professional development as part of our commitment to training
• Core part of the nursery team, helping to think through and implement our strategy and the opportunities ahead of us.

Qualifications and Skills

• An experienced teaching assistant or teacher with a passion for early years education
• Montessori experience would be a benefit
• An excellent communicator and team player, with a strong commitment to working in partnership with the team
• Enhanced DBS Certificate and Update Service
