South Cheshire Marquees are based rurally - therefore a current UK driving license is an essential requirement.
South Cheshire Marquees Ltd (SCM) are looking for experienced marquee/tent riggers on a full time and part time basis

SCM ltd provides high quality temporary structures for the events industry. Most events are private parties / weddings.

SCM ltd is currently looking to recruit hardworking individuals to join our dynamic team.

Experience in marquee/tent building is desirable but not essential, the qualities we look for in potential crew members are, friendliness, a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn and a dedication to be the best you can be on every job you do.

We are looking for crew members to work with the team erecting and dismantling marquee structures and all associated furnishings for specific events.

Our crew members are vital in delivering high quality events SCM is renowned for.


Working Hours:

Flexible hours based on bookings.

Availability to work weekends and bank holidays is an integral part of the job particularly during peak season (April - Oct).

This is not a typical 9-5 job. Early starts and long days are the norm during peak season. Compensation is available for such occurrences. Long holiday periods are available during off peak periods.


Preferable (Not Essential) skills and experience:

• Experience within the temporary structure industry
• Ability to utilise handheld tools and machinery under supervision
• BE driving licence (trailer license)
• Educated to college standard/equivalent

After a successful completion of a training and probationary period, a fixed term contract will be offered.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 40-50 per week


Salary:
£10.00-£15.00 per hour
