Experienced Press brake setter operator to join our engineering / fabrication client based in Lytham st Anne working night shifts after one month day training / day shifts

This role offers a unique training opportunity, allowing you to build your skills during a comprehensive one-month training period on the day shift before transitioning to the night shift.

As a Press Brake Setter/Operator, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and forming sheet metal components to precise specifications.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the production team to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal.
  • Ensure proper tooling and machine settings for each job.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake equipment.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to achieve desired results.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications:


  • Prior experience in press brake setting and operation.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with press brake machinery and tooling.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Safetyconscious mindset.
