Description

Our global construction client is looking for an experienced Procurement/Buyer to join their friendly team.

The ability to develop a deep understanding of main suppliers, their coverage, services and standards is key here.

You will maintain a healthy relationship built on integrity and trust with the aim of achieving best value for both the business and the supplier and ensure that any underperformance against the Service Level Agreement or company expectations in regard to Contractor performance is communicated and addressed.

Day to day you will be receiving purchase requisitions from the End Users and Placing Spot Purchase Orders from local suppliers and key national suppliers within the business, ensuring all purchase orders are created and approved in line with Company and regulatory Policies.

This role will suit a committed and experienced buyer/procurement specialist, someone able to bring new methods and ideas, with the ability to influence and work with stakeholders in the business as well.

Any SAP experience would be useful.

You will be working with a market leading team, so the role will suit ambitious and driven individuals with an appetite to do well.
