Due to the significant and continued growth over the last twelve months, Vape Club is looking to recruit a new Accounts Assistant to work within our in-house finance team.

  • Experience in an accounts assistant role
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting software
  • Knowledge of data entry and management

Main Tasks of Job:


Bookkeeping

  • Maintaining the financial bookkeeping system "Xero".
  • Day to day reconciliation of the bank statements.
  • Balancing ledgers using double entry bookkeeping journals.
  • Maintaining accounts payable; be responsible for retrieving, collating and coding incoming invoices, ensure accurate payment to vendors/suppliers against invoices.
  • Maintaining accounts receivables be responsible for maintaining an accurate record of all revenues.
  • Prepare and issue invoices in accordance with established procedures to ensure billing accuracy
  • Maintain a daily shop cash log and review against the required system.
  • Prepare month end Stock In Transit reports and report to the company accountant.
  • Monitor Intercompany Transactions
  • Maintain International payments system reconciliation.
  • Prepare payroll Workings and related journal entries.
  • Prepare month end Stock value reports and report to management any findings.
  • Prepare month end outstanding invoices/Credit notes/ over or under payments from customers to the required team to handle as required.
  • Prepare Sales team monthly expense reports and confirm payable values.

Administration Tasks

  • Maintain financial records and filing.
  • Monitor office expenses and building utilities.
  • Performs clerical and other related duties as required; word processing, photocopying and verifying receipts/invoices
  • Other duties as required.

Job Types:

Pay:
£28,000.00 per year
