Maintenance Operative
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Operative to join our team at Tapnell Farm.


Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you'll share responsibility for delivering and resolving all day-to-day maintenance, safety checks and ground keeping across the site, leading by example to ensure the visitor experience is of the highest standard at all times.


Responsibilities

  • To ensure that the site is safe and ready to open daily, working with the team to complete daily jobs and responsibilities through morning briefings.
  • Ensure all maintenance checks on equipment, playgrounds, attractions, and accommodation are maintained and digitally recorded regularly to meet all the required standards and safety measures.
  • To ensure that all site maintenance is carried out and completed to the highest standard possible and meet the quality expected.
  • To suggest areas where additional maintenance/improvements may be required across the site to your line manager.
  • To ensure all site maintenance/project work is carried out at the best possible time causing the least amount of disruption to the site operations and visitors. When work is carried out it is completed with staff and customer safety as a top priority
  • To problem solve and find solutions to any unforeseen issues such as blocked drains, pits, services, plumbing, or general repairs.
  • To ensure that all tools, equipment, and workplaces are kept clean, tidy, and secure.
  • To keep up to date on any Health and Safety legislation which may affect how you go about working, such as working at height, using power tools, safety in the workplace, storing of all materials, chemicals etc.

General Specifications

  • Ability to use initiative and work as part of a team.
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate or be willing to undertake training to required standard.
  • Positive "Can Do" attitude.
  • People Focussed.
  • Hold a clean valid driving license
Hours are 37.5 per week, full time and as the site requires, to include 1 weekend day.
