The Role
The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator and Stock Controller to join our central operations team. Responsible for the centralised purchasing and asset control processes as well as providing additional support to admin when required.

A key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for:

  • The centralised purchasing of all equipment / goods; including maintaining supplier relationships, obtaining supplier quotes, negotiating the best possible price, generating purchase orders, tracking and chasing deliveries and dealing with any issues on lead times and delivery delays. The asset control system; including booking equipment / goods in and putting goods in Stores rooms. Managing the location of items within stores rooms. Asset tracking; including booking of equipment in and out of Stores rooms, tools in and out of the tool cupboard and accompany all staff during this process. Monitoring allocation of access to secure rooms and vehicles between employees. Assisting the wider team when required with administration activities such as greeting visitors, answering phones and taking messages. Attending Training Sessions (both internal & external) when required

Full time position - 08:30 - 17:1- Monday to Thursday and 08:30 - 16:00 on Fridays.
