Our client is an established, reputable Building Contractor and Commercial Property Maintenance specialist working mainly in London and the South East of England specialising in commercial fit out projects.

They are currently recruiting for an experienced Working Foreman to supervise labour and trade sub contractors on site.

The position comes with a company vehicle and fuel card.

You will work directly with the Project Manager to maintain programme, quality, site presentation and Health & Safety.

The position is a Full Time permanent position. £45,000 per annum.

Duties include

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers onsite
  • Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the construction
process.

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop construction schedules and
estimates.

  • Provide guidance and training to construction workers as needed while working
alongside them on the tools.

  • Oversee the use of construction equipment and materials.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or hazards.

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritise tasks
  • Detailoriented with strong problemsolving abilities
