Are you a skilled and dedicated healthcare professional passionate about supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety in the operating room? This is your opportunity to become an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), playing a critical role in the surgical team and contributing to the success of surgical interventions.
Key Responsibilities:

Surgical Assistance: Prepare and maintain the operating room for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is ready.

Patient Care: Assist in the positioning of patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during surgery.

Instrument Handling: Hand instruments to the surgeon during procedures and anticipate their needs.

Anesthetic Support: Provide support during anesthesia administration and monitor patient vital signs.

Emergency Response: Be prepared to assist in emergencies and provide immediate support as needed.

Sterilization: Assist in the sterilization of surgical instruments and maintain a sterile environment.
Qualifications and Experience:

ODP Certification: Hold a recognized Operating Department Practitioner qualification.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate competence in surgical equipment handling and aseptic techniques.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Communication Skills: Clearly communicate within the surgical team and with patients.

Patient Safety: Prioritize patient safety throughout surgical procedures.
