Warehouse Operative

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Picking orders
  • Unloading of deliveries
  • Loading of delivery lorries in a safe manner
  • Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock.
  • Ensure all stock is received undamaged and everything ordered is present and accounted for
  • Responsible for final packaging & documentation checking of deliveries out
  • Goods out documentation checking & SAP completion of work orders
  • Ensuring all products are suitably packaged and delivery service used is adequate to meet customer demands.
  • Assembly of products where required.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, liaising with management regarding stock discrepancies and shortages, ensuring stock is kept at suitable levels to meet demand.
  • Ensures safe and clean working environment within areas being supervised, by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Liaising with operations team to inform of operational issues and any process improvements.

Person Specification

  • Thorough understanding of stores procedures and policies
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and work well under pressure.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Flexible
  • Proficient in use of SAP (advantageous)
  • Forklift license (advantageous)

Salary:
£26,000.00 per year

  • Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
