Henson Franklyn is in search of an assistant yard person to join the busy logistics team. This position calls for a well-organized individual to oversee the loading and unloading of Exhibition equipment on a daily basis. Working hands-on to ensure a smooth, accurate, and safe operation, you will play a crucial role within the dedicated and friendly team at our Torksey site.
Outline of Responsibilities
- Efficient loading of Exhibition equipment, signage, and furniture
- Coordinating deliveries and ensuring safe storage of equipment
- Ensuring correct loading of vehicles with attention to detail
- Collaborating with department leads for an efficient operation
- Hands-on experience in a warehouse, loading, or construction environment
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and loading
- Well-organized and proactive in a dynamic role
- High attention to detail and a team player
- Good communication skills
- Committed to improving packaging and product storage
- Assisting with stock management and maintaining records
Qualifications
- Quick learner with exceptional attention to detail
- Counterbalance Forklift license (desirable)
- Experience in loading and unloading (desirable)
